1. INTRODUCTION

In accordance with Law 1/2014, of 24 June, on Public Transparency in Andalusia, this Urban Conservation Entity is obliged to comply with it. Therefore, this Transparency Portal guarantees:

  • Active publicity. This is the obligation of entities to publicise their activities.
  • The right of access to information. Owners have the right to know how the EUC is managed and to ask questions about it.

2. EUC COSTA ESURI INFORMATION

2.1. OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE EUC

In accordance with article 5 of the Statutes, the purpose of the EUC Costa Esuri is to attend to the conservation and maintenance of the following services:

  • Local road network
  • Public lighting network
  • Open spaces and green areas
  • Access and interior control and access service
  • Other similar activities related to the conservation of the works and services of the urban development

2.2 IMPLEMENTING LEGISLATION

  • Statutes of the EUC Costa Esuri The Spanish language version is the official document
  • Law 7/2021, of Impulse for the sustainability of the territory of Andalusia. According to article 98.5: “The urban conservation entities are public law entities with their own legal personality for the fulfilment of their urban planning purposes. Likewise, they are considered as a collaborating urban development entity and are subject to the supervision of the Town Council, being able to request and obtain from the latter the application of the enforcement procedure for the demand of the conservation quotas that must be paid by the owners”.

2.3 GOVERNING BODIES OF THE EUC

In accordance with Article 16 of the Entity's Statutes, the governing bodies of the EUC are:

  • General Assembly: this is the supreme deliberative body of the Entity, and will be composed of all the owners. According to article 9.1, all owners of plots and privately owned residential buildings are compulsory members of the EUC.
  • Governing Council: this is the management, governing and administrative body of the Entity, and holds all those powers that the legal provisions and the Statutes do not expressly confer on the General Assembly.

The current Governing Council was elected by vote at the General Assembly held on 26 April 2024, with the following composition:

The EUC does not receive any public subsidy or aid for the performance of its functions.

4. ECONOMIC AND BUDGETARY INFORMATION

According to article 16 of the Andalusian Public Transparency Law, information with economic or budgetary implications must be made public.

4.1. INCOME: EUC CONTRIBUTIONS

In accordance with article 11 C) of the EUC Statutes, the members of the Entity are obliged to pay punctually the fees fixed by the General Assembly to cover the costs of provision, conservation and maintenance.

Thus, there are two half-yearly instalments to be paid in June and December.

The amount will depend on the type of property owned, ranging from 120 to 400 euros per year.
